The North Dakota Afterschool Network is a statewide system to help all North Dakota students in grades PreK-12 have access to high-quality, safe, and affordable afterschool and summer learning programs. Our goals include:
The ND Afterschool Network Leadership Team is composed of stakeholders from across the state who are dedicated to increasing access to high-quality afterschool and summer learning to students in grades PreK-12. The Leadership Team provides visioning, leadership, and guidance to the Network to advance our shared mission and goals.
The ND Afterschool Network Quality Workgroup supports statewide systems and afterschool programs to expand program quality and build leadership capacity. With representation from a wide variety of out-of-school time programs and stakeholders, workgroup will meet monthly October – May. The 2023-2024 focus includes:
The ND Afterschool Network Policy Workgroup is a dedicated group of individuals working toward increasing access to high-quality afterschool and summer learning programs to students in grades PreK-12 across the state. They guide the Network’s policy agenda and strategize around advocacy at the local, state, and federal level.
The ND Afterschool Network Sustainability Workgroup supports the development and growth of policies and partnerships that will secure the resources needed to sustain new and existing out-of-school time programs. They work to identify and strengthen partnerships and collaborations that will support the capacity of the Network and programs across the state.
