The North Dakota Afterschool Network is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) learning experiences in afterschool and summer learning programs by increasing the number of programs offering STEM learning and increasing the confidence of afterschool professionals to provide high-quality STEM experiences.
Afterschool and summer learning programs offer an ideal setting to reinforce STEM taught during the school day and offer hands-on learning for students to explore topics and STEM experiences they may not otherwise be able to access.
